Bangkok Protests – Red Shirts

After the PAD (Yellow Shirt) protesters, who are loyal to the Monarchy, had Thaksin Shinawatra (an aspiring strong-man), booted from government, and then his cronies less than two years later, the opposition party of PPP (Red Shirts) revolted. But where the Yellow Shirts employed non-violence, the Red Shirts went old-school. In the end, many people were killed and dozens of Bangkok businesses set aflame.
