The Vatican is the smallest, internationally recognized, country in the world. The Pope lives there. And there’s a big-ol museum there too, where priceless artsy-fartsy stuff languishes in the basement (instead of it being sold off to help the poor) because they have no more showroom space. But if you go to Rome, you really should spend a day or so in the “Holy See.”
