Linking Northern Thailand's two big towns, Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son, are two highways 108 and 1095. This is the Mae Hong Son Loop. The scenery is breath-taking, the people are as diverse as they are pleasant, the journey is inspiring. This is a trip best experienced by motorcycle or car.

Major points of interest include: Chaing Mai (starting and ending points), Doi Inthanon National Park, Mae Sariang, Mae La Noi, Khun Yuam, Mae Hong Son, Soppong, and Pai (for those who like crowds).
